Top 5

I guess starting a blog during finals week, combined with my penchant for procrastinating, does not a blog make. The program I'll be travelling with suggests bringing American delicacies down to give to your host family as gifts. So that got me thinking, what constitutes an American delicacy? After that, I started thinking about the things I'll miss most when I'm out of the country for an undetermined amount of time. I had Checkers (their seasoned fries are a delicacy in my opinion) while mulling these thoughts over and decided to make a list and subsequently a blog post about it for all of my readers to see (hey mom!). Here are the top things I'll be missing

5. Bagels. There is only one bagel store in Buenos Aires, bagelazo.com.ar, and you have to order in half dozens. I guess that will suffice.
4. The internet. The program orientation says Wifi is a "luxury" and that not many people have them. This also coming from the same booklet that says not to bring my laptop with me. What are they, insane??
3.  Do they have Subways in Buenos Aires? I'm too scared to Google and find out. Where else can I get my veggie patty on italian herb and cheese with onions and chipotle southwest sauce! Cancel the trip if they don't.
2. Driving. I love driving around- I find it relaxing. It's convenient and efficient. Now I'll have to learn how to ride a bike, use public transportation or (gasp!) maybe even walk. I know, I know.
1. Phoebe, my pride and joy.
